TMSS Nursing College (TNC) is established in 2008 in the serene surroundings of Thengamara, Bogura, which is located besides the Bogura Rangpur Highway and six kilometer north from Bogura Town. At first, TNC secured approval for BSC in Nursing (Post Basic) course by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) on 24th December 2008 for 30 seats. The course is affiliated with Rajshahi University in the session of 2009-10 and admission of students has started since then. The number of seats is increased to 40 seats from 2017-2018 session with the approval of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and Rajshahi University. The course is affiliated with Rajshahi Medical University from 2017-2018 session and now academic activities is going on with admission of students in 45 seats every year.

On 28th January 2009, TNC got approval from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and Bangladesh Nursing Council to admit students in 25 seats in Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery course. The number of seats for this course is increased to 50 seats in 2010-2011 session. In 2013-2014 session, the number of seats is increase to 100 seats and currently students are admitted in 100 seats and 2021-2022 session currently students are admitted in 180 seats every year. 

BSC in Nursing (Basic) course is approved by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and affiliated with Rajshahi University for 25 seats in 2011-12 session. Then in 2017-18 session, the number of seats is increased to 40 seats with the approval of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and 35 seats by Rajshahi University. From 2018-2019 session, 50 seats are approved by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and Rajshahi Medical University. currently students are admitted in 100 seats every year.

Diploma in Midwifery course is approved in 2015-16 session and 50 seats are admitted to students every year. Currently 9th batch is running.

TNC has 39 faculty members including teaching doctors, teaching nurses and general teachers. Theory classes, practical classes and classes of clinical practices in hospital are conducted regularly by the faculty members. Class tests, model tests and additional classes are conducted to enhance the quality of the students. Library is open for the study of the students from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The library is equipped with modern facilities like computer with internet connection; besides, WiFi facility is also available. There are 08 labs in the academic building. These are Demonstration lab, Midwifery lab, Anatomy lab, Physiology lab, Microbiology lab, Nutrition lab, English Skill Lab  and Computer lab. Necessary instruments and equipments are available for practical training in the labs. Extracurricular activities and different day observations are practiced regularly to enrich the students’ physical, social and spiritual lives. Educational tours, Student week, psychiatric and community visit, observations of International Nurses’ day, International Midwifery day, annual picnic etc. are arranged regularly. Provisions of additional classes for weak students and clinical practices in the 1000 bedded TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital are also available. Interactive teaching and providing lectures with the aid of multimedia projector and sound system is ensured in the classes.
